You must not have kids. Leave a hammer outside for the winter and see what happens to it. All my old hammers got rusted to crap and my wood handle one rotted. Most of them were eventually lost.

I use this hammer as the hammer that my wife and kids are allowed to use so they don't ruin my good hammers.

Always thought Kovalt tools were one time use and then dispose of them. At $6, it seems it's still that way.

Confirm x3. Mine like to use the claw end of mine to dig holes and the other end to "bust open rocks." Still haven't seen one hammer since the summer.
