I had a really tough time with us mobile. Never was able to get data to work and customer service was unhelpful. When I decided to give up and transfer to another service they wouldn't give me my account info so I could port my number. They said I had to purchase a plan first (even though I couldn't get their data to work, nor could they). I threaten to report them to the BBB and finally they gave me the account info but the port never worked and I had to change numbers. You might want to try them before porting your number because even if the service doesn't work you might never get your number back.

I'm on their trial. Activated Pixel 7 and S22U both on eSIM.

I signed up in December and my experience has been mixed. Great, friendly and helpful customer support but even though my family have had no issues with their devices (iphones/androids) on the Verizon Warp 5G service in Missouri, I've had bad luck with unusable internet (40+ seconds to load websites). That said we went from paying $180 on a grandfather tmobile plan to $115 (after taxes). Customer support also is shipping me a free sim card to hopefully fix my issues.

february update since this is still getting views - internet has been much better with no difference between what I used to get for speeds on tmobile and what I get now on us mobile. I think there was just something wrong with my account when I started with them.

Can you tell me the steps you did to activate esim on free trial? I have 1 line physical sim. My brother has esim and want to try the trial. But the page just tells me to order another starter kit for 3.99

There are a couple of things to consider. The charges always shows with a discount. Also, you should have selected autopay during the set up. It won't work otherwise.

This is the email you should receive:
Your order number is:3796782XX
CYBER 2022 TRIAL DISCOUNT:-$10.00)
The total comes to:$0.00

When I tried hotspot, it led me to Verizon website log in page? How do you set up personal hotspot?

That's strange. Hotspot should be a phone setting

I guess, you are in the first 10 days. If so, contact them to enable it. It should work fine automatically after first 10 days.

I am on US Mobile's 10 day trail then did their $12 2GB plan
Terrible, they cut the data off to zero after 2GB is up, also fee and tax is like 33%.
for $12 plan I paid close to $5 for tax and fee, so $16.xx.

Ditching them after one month with them.

They charge it $10 but give discount $10 immediately. You don't need to pay anything for first 100 days.

So there is an actual charge to the credit card? I used a virtual card, then locked it. I guess I better unlock it.

Hotspot is not included in this free trial. I'm on the trial and it's blocked and only available if on a paid plan. I'm still on the fence as I seem to be getting quite a few warnings about unstable network of which I never got with any Tracfone company on the Verizon network.

Not my experience.

Last month, at the end of my 10-day trial period, a $10 charge posted to my my CC.
Four days after that, a $10 credit posted to my CC.
Two separate transactions with a net cost to me of zero.
