I had a really tough time with us mobile. Never was able to get data to work and customer service was unhelpful. When I decided to give up and transfer to another service they wouldn't give me my account info so I could port my number. They said I had to purchase a plan first (even though I couldn't get their data to work, nor could they). I threaten to report them to the BBB and finally they gave me the account info but the port never worked and I had to change numbers. You might want to try them before porting your number because even if the service doesn't work you might never get your number back.

I'm on their trial. Activated Pixel 7 and S22U both on eSIM.

I signed up in December and my experience has been mixed. Great, friendly and helpful customer support but even though my family have had no issues with their devices (iphones/androids) on the Verizon Warp 5G service in Missouri, I've had bad luck with unusable internet (40+ seconds to load websites). That said we went from paying $180 on a grandfather tmobile plan to $115 (after taxes). Customer support also is shipping me a free sim card to hopefully fix my issues.

february update since this is still getting views - internet has been much better with no difference between what I used to get for speeds on tmobile and what I get now on us mobile. I think there was just something wrong with my account when I started with them.

So how do you request them to release your own number?
I opened up a chat with one of their reps on their website.

Shit company. I've had nothing but trouble with their billing. Will be going back to Mint.

Is the 10 day free trial gone? I no longer see the option to choose it on the US Mobile website.

Where? All I am seeing is the 100 day free trial. Can you provide a link to the 10 day free trial page? Thanks!

A USMobile support person on Reddit said that the 10 day trial is no longer available, only the 100 day trial.

The 100 day trial is still ongoing as I just got it. I ported in from Mint, it took under 10 minutes and not days for my number to be ported. I have an Android phone and used esim no problem.

Everything seems to work. Network shows as Verizon 5G, speed test I ran report 46Mbps down, 2.83Mbps up.

I saw this in the welcome email, make sure not to change the plan until you are close to your 100 day expiration:

Your 100 Days of free Warp 5G will start when your line successfully transfers over to US Mobile. You won't be charged for the duration of the trial. If you change your promotional plan before the end of 100 Days, the promotion will end automatically.

Is this promotion only for "Warp 5G" / Verizon network? I got the sim, but my old phone (unlocked from T-Mobile) doesn't support 5G. When I try to activate for just GSM LTE network, it only gives me their typical data plans. After selecting any random plan, it immediately wants to charge my credit card. (I gave it a virtual Citi credit card number which I set a $10 max charge so the transaction was declined.)
