I was originally looking to purchase this from Amazon, but after reading some feedback some buyers received the 500GB version instead of 4TB. Also, while shipping was free, it was not 2-day Prime
Hope this helps someone.

With the exception of not disclosing SMR on some models, hard drives have more or less always gotten better over the years... Less power consumption, noise, and higher throughput. We have come a long way from my 4 gig Seagate barracuda SCSI-2 drive (ie: apache helicopter) of yore.
But SSDs seem to be going in the reverse... Other than the interface upgrading, we are losing endurance, max and sustained throughput, and even warranties are taking a dump...its like slim gaming consoles...lose features. It's a SATA drive... Is any "upgrade" to them ever going to be our benefit?
This makes me want to go find used mx500s or even Samsung 860 EVOs
