I mean, you could put a colorful tag on the handle?

Based on some very cursory research, airlines allow up a certain number of linear inches for a checked bag which is just the three dimensions added together. 62 inches is the norm (allegedly). The largest bag here is under 62 linear inches based on the dimensions on the Amazon page. FYI.

Also, assuming the measurements on the product page are correct, the carry on size bag appears to be allowed in terms of size. Maximum size on American Airlines is 22x14x9. This bag is 21x14x7.5.

The dimensions listed on Amazon don't appear to be correct. Someone in one of the Amazon reviews took a picture of the luggage specs from the packaging and it lists the following:

29" 31.75 x 20.5 x 12.5 = 64.75"
21" 23.5 x 14.5 x 9.75 = 47.75"

Good deal but I do not buy black luggage because almost every luggage on a baggage claim is black. I like the red color and hopefully it will also go on sale.

Almost bought. Good deal. Reviews say that carry-on is too big to carry on for most airlines. Also large bag is too big for checked.

Does anyone know where to still get normal 2-wheel roll aboard luggage? All these spinners are just designed to sell more luggage when the casters fail.

Thank you! I didn't look that far.

That is problematic. I ordered and will probably return.

Thank you for following up on this.

The 21x14x7.5 is the " Packing Dimensions" meaning it's the dimension of the storage compartment (the box shape). The dimension you should be looking at is 24x14x8 as listed in the product description as "Overall Dimensions", which includes the wheels and handles and is how the airlines measure your luggage. Apperantly it exceed the carry-on item size limit of all major airlines.

Note: overall should be what airlines measure / limit.
Internal should be volume for stuff/ you can pack into.

Per AT website

21" Carry-On
Overall Dimensions 24.0" x 14.0" x 8.0"
Internal Dimensions 21" x 14.0" x 7.5"

25" Medium Checked
Overall Dimensions. 28.0" x 18.0" x 8.5"
Internal Dimensions. 25.0" x 18.0" x 8.5"
Weight. 10.5 lbs.

29". Large Checked
Overall Dimensions. 32.0" x 20.0" x 9.5"
Internal Dimensions. 29.0" x 20.0" x 9.5"
Weight. 12.12 lbs.

Yeah, carry on will be an issue. It was too late for me to cancel my order. I'm going to look at it when it arrives and decide whether I want to return.

This seems silly to me. Assuming airlines did not change the measurements recently, it shouldn't be difficult for luggage companies to make it according to industry specs.

I like the black ones because they do not show scuff and dirt marks. Anything other than black looks clean once, the first time you arrive at the airport. I tie a ribbon on all of mine on the handle.

I second that. I like 2 wheeled rollers. I have been refraining from upgrading my luggage set, which is falling apart, because I hate spinning casters.

good deal however the 29" is pretty much a waste these days because of the 50lb weight limit for most people
