Northern tool is selling the batteryminder 2012 for $50 plus shipping ($10 shipping if only buying one, $12 if buying 3). Next best price is $93 at Amazon. I was looking for 3 high end battery maintainers for my36v golf cart as I have not had luck with the higher end golf cart battery maintainers. Unlike the lower end models, the manufacturer's website states this model has a relay to disconnect the maintainer from the battery if it loses 120v power, thereby preventing back draining of the battery and potential permanent damage of battery.

I bought this for the desulfator feature. This thing won't bring back a battery you forgot about all winter and it's bulging at the sides. It won't bring back a severely sulphated battery either. It will extend you batteries life and restore cranking power. I've easily gained a year or 2 out of all of my car batteries using this. All my cars go 6+ years in a very tough climate.
This works especially good if you can leave it all winter on a weak mower or power sport battery. By spring it will be like new. I received a completely dead mower battery from 2016. I put jumper cables from a good battery to this dead one and then put the charger on it for a week. After that I was able to remove the jumper battery and charge it. That battery holds 12.65v after being stored for weeks and cranks like new.
This one has desulfate. I have had it about a year, no issues. Charges and reconditions and desulfates the battery. Looks like $26 right now.

I also have the 2/10 amp charger that was rebranded by everyone for heavier duty battery charger needs.
Obviously the charger in this deal has some specific features like "desulfating batteries" but from a charging perspective what makes this one so unique and a good buy
