He doesn't need a $200+ docking station when a couple $15-20 usb-to-hdmi adapters can easily solve his problem.
a new GPU...
Or, if he's a tad bit tech-savvy he can get a dedicated GPU (like a mini Quadro with HDMI or Geforce GT [newegg.com], etc). There are plenty of sub $100 options that will add a few HDMI or DP ports to your PC without the need of any PSU power cables. Won't game at 4k 60fps but will be able to support three monitors for work purposes.

Better than spending the money on adapters IMHO.

Looks like a really good deal, but is the 5ms response time bad?

Anyone have any tips for me? I just bought 3 of these. And now am searching for a solution to hook them up to my work pc. My pc has 1 hdmi, 1 dvi, 1 vga, 4 usb 3.0. These monitors only have hdmi and displayport. So I gather I will need adapters that can carry a 4k signal? Even then i dont know if my PC can handle 3 4k monitors... Any help is appreciated.

You can get usb-to-hdmi adapters. They don't cost much and work great, just make sure you get ones that support your needs. For example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075V68NVR

Your PC has dvi and VGA ports. I doubt it can do 4k 60hz.

When I use the 1 hdmi the one monitor comes through great. I don't have usb-c either but looks like usb3.0 has some options for 4K

I've had two of these in my cart for the last couple of hours, while I decided which keyboard + mouse combo to pick up, whether or not I needed a docking station for my 14" MBP (I don't), and which Thunderbolt 4 cables I should go with, only to decide against them. There were some pretty scathing reviews on LG's website, and I haven't seen any indication that anything has changed. There's apparently a known issue to LG (that their own customer support referenced consistently in customer reviews), that causes the power supply to die after a few months. While they seem to fix the issue for customers, it involves spotty communication from LG, and then being without your monitor for a month or two.

I'm wanting to buy monitors that work, and I'm concerned that they still may be selling duds?

27 inch monitor is sweet spot for most. If u end up going with 32, u tend to seat way close to monitor. I do have 32 inch but I also do have extra large width desk.
