This is actually a surprisingly awesome kit, looks boring from on the face of it, but has some really exciting build techniques throughout and good nostalgia value at this price it's ridiculous value

Looks like they really over judged the demand for this set. $100 retail and then been on sale for 75 and then 50 multiple times! Which is sad because I really want more of these nostalgic sets.

Agreed 100%. Maybe this will help them zero in on the right price points though. I wanted this from early on but $100 was a step too far. Probably should have started at $80 & then the common 20% discounts would have worked will for the rest.

Anyone know if there are big builds that require 2-3 of these?

If that were the case, wouldn't lego.com discount? Me thinks Walmart overestimated unless somehow it Walmart and Lego are in a Collab.

I just built this with an old friend this past weekend and we had a total blast. We're both in our mid-30s and neither of us had built a lego set in over 20 years. We used to build our own space ships back in the day so this set was right up our alley. Highly recommended at this price!
