A carabiner cuz you know I keep that mf thang on me
Pull all the bits out with pliers. Then use a screwdriver to take the entire row out of the case. On the backside of the row you'll see tabs that hold the bits in place. Carefully pry the tabs out (not too much or it won't hold the bits). Test fit all the slots before putting everything back

Or wait for the new cases to be released

They gave a few of these tips out for free with signing up via slickdeals (you can search). I've gone through a majority of them and they haven't lasted specifically the impact screw tips. Was pretty disappointed with the quality of them. I thought the tips would last a lot longer but they're stripped

Is there a difference in quality of these bits between Milwaukee and Dewalt?

Those have to be cooked. I absolutely hate these bits and this set.

Leaving terrible case and bit storage aside, the bits themselves are bad. They're both soft and subject to instant rusting. I find myself grabbing the #2 Phillips from my **15 year old** Ridgid impact set if I am concerned about rounding out a bit. I'm talking about a single bit I've used for 15 years that has some wear... It still works better than the 20 duplicate brand new bits out of this set. I had a large torx bit twist with low torque and no impact applied. The small ones are absolute trash.
I'm not a contractor but experienced and I can say with certainty these are not worth buying over even a cheap black, impact set.

There's always someone in every bit discussion that says these bits suck. Well, they all can suck, no matter the brand, depending on how you use them. Insert it angled or don't push down hard enough or use it on something that's too tight and you can quickly damage a bit on first use and it'll suck for anything it touches after that.

I don't even know what brands of bits I use most of the time, having several commingled sets, but at the first inkling of a problem - into the recycle bin it goes.

That being said, the Project Farm guy tried his best to do objective tests and the Milwaukee Shockwaves came out on top, for what that's worth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-xOHQTT5tw

Can anyone speak to the carabiner -- is it magnetic retention or physical hold - is it a malleable rubber or a hard plastic?

I was looking at a Stealthmounts keychain to hang off my bag, but this holds more bits.

Wtf are you using them on?! I'm a diesel tech and they last plenty long for me.
