I just got an email saying my modem is no longer supported, should I get a 3.0 or 3.1 modem? I don't care about high speeds

Not sure if you decided on a modem yet. Personally, I would look to get a 3.1 modem. I am surprised they still sell 3.0 as it is nearing end-of-life.

Is 3.0 nearing end-of-life? I couldn't find any information on that from Comcast/Xfinity

Bought a refurbished S33 on Amazon $139. Using xfinity, set it up via chat window. They said it would take 24hrs to activate. Next day, worked like a charm. My internet is 1.2GB speed
