If you don't use a ton of tomato paste I think the real slick deal is switching to tubes. You don't have to throw away a whole can when you only need a tablespoon.

Freeze the extra in a baggie, it's easy to flatten and use the dull side of a knife to push portion marks and freeze it, it'll break easily at those knife marks.

$7.08 with 5% S&S for the 6 oz, unlike George I have no 40% coupon for the 12 oz size.

Guess I lucked out with the 40% coupon. I don't typically use S&S coupons (doesn't seem right to use one and then later on cancel the subscription), so I was lucky to have one on this product and figured I'd use it. I am corrupting my morals. :-)

I've always used tomato sauce, I have always wanted to try paste. Personally how does it compare? Thanks

Much richer than tomato sauce because you don't get all that water, try sauting a little to bring the flavors out.
