I bought a 75" LG that arrived damaged in 2018. Turns out it was sold by Beach Camera through Newegg, each one trying to pin the problem on the other. After a few days I called Amex, filed a claim and got my money back. Someone finally came after a month and picked up the TV.

Here's the kicker...three months later I try to sign on to Newegg to find my account permanently suspended. When I called I was told I was suspended because I never returned the TV. Even after I sent them a copy of the shipper's ticket that it was picked up they wouldn't reinstate my account. Beach Camera put Newegg on the hook for the money saying they never got the TV back and I ended up with a suspension.

Man, SSD prices are dropping like a rock. Hopefully 4TB drives drop below $200 soon. Would be nice to pick up an m.2 drive so I don't have to worry about cables.

I've been through tons of Teamgroup drives, no problems.

Definitely this form factor is. Most of the other deals seem to be around the smaller M.2 drives, but, yeah they are getting cheaper as well.

It's shame it's from NewEgg or I would have ordered one.

Why? Was Newegg also bought out by shady operators?

Been that way for years. If you never had a problem, good for you, but it takes just 1 time and you will be on the ever growing list of folks who instinctively down vote when they see NoEgg as a seller. I am not TC'ing, but you asked why, and there is a reason. I am on the list of never again ex customers. I normally skip even reading a NoEgg thread, but the price of this drive peaked my interest.

Is this a good brand?... $85 seems like a solid deal... or should I hold out for a price drop on a Samsung or WD or Seagate etc.....

It's fine, but a mediocre performing. I like them better than the likes of Kingston or PNY. I think Crucial drives MX500 are the ones to buy is you are concerned about quality.

I thought that M.2 was more expensive in the past than the other form factors. Does smaller mean smaller capacity or smaller size? I would think that the smaller the form factor the more it would cost to make.

I have had bad experiences with items they have had on sale. This deal is good but if I do not know the product then I would likely pass on anything Newegg has on sale.

+1 here. They gave me crap about returns a few times in 2016 and that got me off the fence. Never looked back. Before that I was frequent with Newegg

Ya I'm pretty sure he means smaller capacity drives m.2 are the ones going on sale.

Price of m.2 drives scales to a certain point but since most of the cost is for NAND once you hit a certain point dramatically increase in price since you're so limited in physical size that you're forced to use higher capacity NAND which increase cost. So it'd be pretty unlikely for us to see sub-$200 4TB drives before Black Friday
