* Are either Wyze Cam OG or Wyze Cam OG Telephoto Cam Plus Lite compatible?
* No, neither camera is compatible with Cam Plus Lite.
Two cameras = two SD cards
But once the stacking kit comes it's one power cable.
They wanted to go back to being a "low priced camera company". they mentioned there are going to be a lot of different cameras coming out in the future like wide angle, super wide angle, 5x, 7x zoom cameras and other options to add onto this "OG" ecosystem.
The V3 is compatible with other items like spot light, garage door, and other items where as the OG ecosystem won't be.
It will be two series: a higher end series and a lower end series and each will be compatible with their own system. So instead of buying multiple high end cameras for simple areas you can buy cheaper cameras that do one specific job for that one location. like instead of buying two OG cameras and stack them for a wider view, you would just put a V3 pan in that location. and instead of putting a V3 or V3 pan to see down the side of the house you would just put in an OG or OG telephoto to see the entrance gate down the side of the house.
I guess that would be the best way to put it. Each OG camera will do one specific job with a processor and sensor that is better than the V3 so it's not a V3 replacement. Hope this helps
Edit - Poster below found these new cameras are not eligible for the Cam Plus Lite sub.

I'm just glad I bought the 8 v3's from Home Depot sale we had a month ago 17 dollars a piece that has wyze cam Lite on them.
How does this compare to YI Home cameras?
.
Be careful, I bought a handful of these to hang up around my house, replacing the v2 with these ones. These have no support for Cam Plus Lite, nor RTSP. This is just a way to try and grab more subscription money; that's why they're so cheap.
As far as quality goes, they're great. Image is great, they're faster than the v2, and even the microphone seems better. My only gripe is that you have to update to the newest version of the iOS app to add them, and I've lost a bunch of features. Example, I have SD cards in all of mine, but I cannot just click on the alert and have it bring up the video from the SD card like I used to on the old version of the app, because Cam Plus Lite is missing from these cameras. You now have to click "show menu" after the app opens, and click SD Card, and then manually find the time stamp from the generated alert. Also there is about a full two minute delay in SD Card. Example, if an alert pops off at 1:05 PM, and II click the alert, click show more, click the SD Card, it will only show up to 1:03 PM on the SD Card recordings. I will have to back out of that camera, wait two full minutes and then I can see 1:05 PM and see what the recording was.
This all goes away if you subscribe to Cam Plus, which is annoying. The two minute delay went away completely and I can just click the alert and have it bring up the video when I put them on a trial of Cam Plus, which means they are intentionally sandbagging the cameras to sell subscriptions. It's shady and I'm kinda mad about it.

Mine could be the bad first few batches, but return them and went with the Pan V3. At least the camera quality is consistent with the regular V3.

DO NOT BUY this OG.
