Since you requested, keep in mind that serving size is 2 per container, which means you have to double everything if you are eating one packet. So, sodium intake is not 910mg (38%) but actually 1820mg (76%). With that said, I've eaten these noodles for many years, and I've never had any health issues other than elevated BP here and there. If you exercise regularly, it's fine to take in more sodium too.
I use 1/2 pk seasoning mix 😂,works because I don't make soup

All the sodium is in the flavor packet of course, I've found that using 1/3 or 1/2 of the packet is sufficient. Boom. Too easy.

If you're like me who only uses the noodles and tosses out the packet, you can buy a Top-Ramen 12-pack of chicken or beef at Walmart for $2.38 ($4.76 for 24 basically).

Also I'm a monster who munches on the "dry" noodles as a snack sometimes.

People who eat ramen for taste should just pick some good quality stuff from asian stores like hmart/99 ranch. Good ones cost $1 per packet.
People who eat ramen cuz they're broke should really just pick up a bag of rice and condiments from asian stores. Far cheaper and more nutritious.

Maruchan ramen is abhorrent.

So I probably eat ramen a handful of times a year. Mostly udon bowl or pho bowls from Costco. Ideally I wouldn't mind having it several days a week but sodium. I guess I try to make it " healthy"by adding in veggie, meats, etc and don't use the included flavor packets although just hot sauce, chili powder, and a bit of low sodium soy sauce isn't as good

Went with the chicken, which was a buck more...lukewarm price, but at least I don't have to worry about it for a while.

I ordered these through Amazon. it is just plain awful. the flavor is tasteless and very salty. I ended up saving the noodle (which is bad) and throw out the flavor packet.

You can also eat noodles without drinking soup and save it to use for other dishes. I've done that before because I'm cheap and don't want to waste anything lol

I can't remember the last time I ever ate the soup part. It's just a flavor bath for the noodles that gets pitched. In for a pack. Nongshim shin regular and black has been too expensive recently, I'm sure this isn't 10 times worse than shin black at more than 10 times cheaper.

Chicken is also a few cents more, and both are available with S&S

really, the price of food is up 100% in 2 years?
2 years ago I was paying 15-18 cents per package at our local Winn Dixie. Now they are a 6 pack for $1.90 or greater depending on the brand (31+ cents per package).

Dollar Tree was a 5 or 6 pack for $1.00 ... now the 5-6 packs are mostly gone and replaced with individual packs at 3 for a dollar. And that was not too long ago.

I still pick up the 5 packs when I can find them there for $1.25. Cheapest around.

And have you priced the Chef Borawdee lately? Was paying .88 two years ago, now they are $1.69 retail price (with some sales at $1.25).

And how about soft drinks? They have gone up MORE than 100% in two years. Also look at eggs since you obviously don't get out shopping much. More than 100% in two years.

I am not even going to mention Milk prices. Or butter.

So yes ... you are drinking the official kool-aide. Which has also gone up in price substantially.

2 years ago? That makes a good comparison for today. Guess you don't get out shopping much.
I have to agree with this because at my Walmart it's $3.28 for a 12 count. This IS in fact a good deal. With food prices the way they are, it might be a good idea to grab a couple
