I can't stand when brands sprawl their initials all over the product.. so tacky looking and just gives me gaudy vibes

Genuine question: Why go for polyester when you can get leather for the same price: https://www.michaelkors.com/merce...color=0230

There are many leather ones at various styles on sale that are around this price point.

Yes. Some people like it. Some people don't. To each her own. No need to be judgmental. I personally don't care for it but doesn't bother me that people do and i don't think less of them.

The real high end leather bags don't have super obvious logos. Hermes, Chanel, Bottega, LVs, Gucci, Dior, Balenciaga, etc.
The canvas bags are for showing off with logos and the leather ones are more for wealthy people. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting to show off a logo bag as long as they are authentic. Fake bags distributes money to child labor and terrorism.
Even Coach has a premium line that is logo lite.

MK is not really a good brand for handbag aficionados. They over expanded with outlet stores and ruined their brand with low quality outlet only bags.

While leather would be better, the link you posted is for a much smaller bag than the one OP posted. i.e. Only 6" long x 6.5" tall x 2" wide...versus the originally posted bag 10.75" long x 7.5" tall x 4" wide. So not exactly a fair apples to apples comparison. Hope this helps!
