What's the difference between flow and flow-x other than the price and different style base?

Happy with the motion activated one. Don't think I've had to change the batteries in a year

I bought the motion activated one about 3 years ago. We loved it for the idea that you won't spread COVID germs on the handle using the motion sensor. However, if you have a smaller sink, then any pot or pan will confuse the sensor. We would often find the big Sauce Pot from dinner would block us from turning on the water. You do have the option to override that using the control box under the sink, but that was unrealistic to have to use that every time we cooked. For bigger sinks - probably not an issue. Also, never had to change the batteries on that control box either, so it's not pulling much power on a regular basis.

Had this for a few years. The motion works great. Only problem we have now that when you take the wand spray down it automatically turns on but when put back it doesn't stop - unless we really let it pull back with some force. We use to be able to gently put it back to turn it off.

Other than that it's great besides every guest trying to use the handle to figure it out.

Does the handle work to turn it on and off or only to adjust temperature?

Same. Installed it a year ago from a similar deal and could never go back. Also, haven't had to replace the AA batteries that control the IR detector and valve yet either.

According to a response on the Home Depot website:

"The handle has to be open or pulled away from the faucet to use the motion sensor. Once you push it back the motion sensor will not work."

Yes. Takes some AA batteries under the sink in a waterproof thing. I've had this thing for multiple years and only changed them once. Great faucet.

I do kinda wish the motion activation sensor was on the side of the faucet like newer ones... it is fairly easy to accidentally trigger it while doing dishes.

Yes, a couple or 3 AA's I think ( I have one) but as others have stated they last a long time.
As others have said, the motion activation is a game changer, once you get this, you will be converted to the idea. This is a fantastic faucet....don't hesitate to buy this, you won't regret it!

It's only temp adjustment and flow rate. If you push it in all the way then it won't flow and give the appearance of off. Takes a while for people to get use to it.

To clarify - only way to turn it on is by motion sensor or pulling the wand spray down. Same with turning it off.

Is this the lowest historical price for the motion activated faucets?
