I think I'm becoming a headlamp hoarder. I picked up another 2-pack of different headlamps from Woot a couple of months ago, have an olight headlamp, something super cheap but rechargeable (not bad considering it was practically free at the time), a nice black diamond one from REI, a Coleman one that I sadly may have to throw out, plus I got one for Xmas. And I'm not certain that's all of them.

Getting these absolutely obliterates any excuse I have to not keep a headlamp in the car, though.

As a headlamp connoisseur, how does this one compare for performance and value? I'm thinking I may snag this deal but know nothing about headlamps!

Must resist. Costco 3 pack duracell 550 lumen would be a better deal if it hits $15 @ B&M

I bought these the last time they were on sale. I have too many headlamps, but these are the brightest by far. Almost too bright, you can't look directly into them when on the bright setting. When you push the button, the red comes first, then the bright, then the less bright.

Agreed. I have a few different brand headlamp. The biggest problem with those is when it's getting low, the Lumens gets weaker. Annoying. I rather it stays full bright till it drop! Do you know which brand?

Bought these the last time they were close to this price. They work very well, and the red light is handy if your an astronomer like myself. Recharge time is about 2 hours from almost completely dead.

Got these back in August, got tired of the ones from Costco that required AAA batteries for which I used rechargables. These are awesome, and I use it almost daily when walking my dog after sunset and early mornings.
