How would this be for a computer setup? Worth it? Overkill?
I personally prefer surround sound. Especially if you're sitting right in front of your computer, you'd want speakers on each side of you. I feel a soundbar would just be pushing the sound straight "at" you, instead of "around" you compared to if you had speakers on each side.
But that's just my opinion, and I really haven't tried sound bars. But that's why I came to look at the opinions and comments on this deal.

Definitely overkill, but it's a good solution if you have the room. I use a Vizio soundbar and I really like it. A set of regular computer speakers will not have a remote, bluetooth, equalizer presets, etc.
Serious question that's hopefully answered since this post is getting some activity… why buy 2 channel, when 3 channel sound bars are better for dialogue and help with action scenes? Price?
Hey I "hear" you guys loud and clear but power alone does not mean better sound. I have heard cheap TV sound and cheap soundbar sound and they are usually not far from each other in terms of quality. I guess we can all agree that this is not for audiophiles :-)
I would say go for the splurge on the soundbar. It would be worth it to pay even 4x this price to get something decent since you can use it for music and any other TV you might get in the future.
But of course to each their own.
I kinda look at it another way, if you're gonna waste money on a soundbar ya might as well keep it under a hundred bucks
How would this work with a cheap Amazon projector I bought for $80
I have a cheap TCL soundbar that we got for $30 (I think the Alto 6) and we connected it with bluetooth to our $80 amazon projector, hooked up a roku stick and bam, instant kids movie theater in the backyard. It worked great, I would expect you'd get similar results from this. Much better with the speaker near the screen than having the sound come from a crappy mono projector speaker which may be behind you or in the middle of the crowd. We did end up "splurging" about $100 on a 110 inch pull down screen from Amazon as well. The quaility or each component was better than I expected, and for a little over $200 all in for a true home theater experience for the kids it was totally worth it.

It's alright you have to mess with the lens a bit to get the clearest picture and even then the boundaries can be blurry. But it's perfect for a small dark bed room before going to bed. I installed a shelf over the bed and have the projector sitting on. Also have a fire stick connected to it

Nice, yeah the mini speaker on my projector isn't great either. Thanks for the tips
Would like the convenience of a soundbar with CEC control. But last one I bought had -at best- muddy sound. Wondering whether it makes any sense to hack this soundbar; bypass soundbar speakers and hook up a pair of decent speakers that don't require a lot of power.
Anyone ??
I bought this one, took it out of the box, tested it for 10 minutes and put it back in the box and returned it. It's a piece of garbage that's overpriced at the discounted price.
