This looks like a great deal and I almost jumped on it, but some of the reviews are giving me pause, in particular this one:

I think I might sit this one out. That being said, on its face it's a good deal, so thanks for posting, op!

I own the non-AI version with the auto empty bin. There are some things I like about it and some things I don't. The only other robot vacuum I have owned to compare it against is the Deebot T8+ AIVI.There are some things I prefer about the Deebot over the Samsung.

Things I like:
Seems to clean my all-hardwood/tile floor main floor well.

Auto empty dock is reliable and doesn't require me to unclog the vacuum canister as frequently as I had to with the Deebot.

Seems to get stuck less than Deebot.

Doesn't lose connection to its base like my Deebot did

Things I don't like:
Cleaning time: cleans slower than deebot. Probably because it only has one front rotating brush, but also because of limited customization by the subpar software (more on that later)

Battery life: Barely finishes cleaning my main floor and sometimes has to go back to recharge before finishing. This depends on how many obstacles it encounters that it had to spend time negotiating during that cleaning session. Bottom line is that the battery needs to be bigger, and its short run time is one of the main factors that would keep me from buying this if I had to do it over again.

Height clearance: The Jetbot is slightly taller than the Deebot and doesn't go under my bed. The AI version is even taller than the version I have, so you may want to take that into consideration.

Software: The software experience and cleaning options are inferior in quite a few ways to the Deebot. This is the second deal breaker for me. Samsung really needs to revamp their software for their robot vacuums if they are going to be competitive.

You have to control the Jetbot through the Samsung SmartThings app. It doesn't have its own dedicated app. This isnt problem on its own, but I mention it because it reflects the lack of attention that Samsung has paid to developing the software features for their robot vacuums (and if you read SmartThings reviews on the app store, this lack of attention and robustness applies to pretty much all devices that use it.) For example: if you want to schedule the Jetbot to clean only a specific room in the house on a specific day, you can't do that. You can only schedule the Jetbot to clean the entire map.

Never seen this price on Samsung direct. Once it was 469 but that was edu bundles with appliances. By itself lowest was 560 or so.

Either these sell better than i think, or Samsung didnt manufacture as many and in no rush. Amazon sure is and probably demanded Samsung offer a big deal.

Nevertheless, while tempting to play around with it, only sub 400 would make me bite. No robot vacuum had ever impressed me, even barely. Don't own one, don't want to unless vastly improves. Don't get how popular they've been still and they stink
I've been trying to sell one for $350 and have 0 interest from people in Orlando.

Say that to my 70's year old mother who no longer has knee issues having to vacuum and clean a house every week. Say that to her bank account that hasn't had to hire a cleaning lady who you have to watch in case they steal something. Sure robot vacuums have a long way to go but at their current state they're a hell of a lot better than they used to be even a few years ago. LiDAR is a pretty new technology for robot vacuums and it works pretty well. Sure it takes adjustments to your house and not leaving things laying around on the floor… maybe some cords need to be zip tied off the floor etc. but again it's been a godsend for my parents at an affordable price. You would have to pay a cleaning service probably the amount it costs the robot vacuum every month
For those physically challenged , its something only dreamed of decades ago. I absolutely get it. Those i know who have it, none need it, and ita another gadget. I want one as such for sure. Nevertheless i am surpises they haven't improved DRASTICALLY considering its been many years and competition is strong. Gueas, it's not easy!

That thing looks like it was designed to seek and eliminate its rival robot vacuums. Nice.

I've owned about 20 Samsung phones and didn't have issues with any of them. Done a bunch of trade-ins to Samsung directly as well and have had no issues. There are a lot of haters out there who enjoy fabricating stories to give people/companies bad names. Got too much free time on their hands I guess.

I also have a Samsung stove and microwave. It's been years and going strong.

My latest additions are the 85" Samsung TV, Samsung soundbar, the Galaxy Fold 4, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Enjoy the heck out of all (except the Tab S8 Ultra which I didn't even open yet lol).

Why is the tax calculated based on the amount before the coupon?

That's because the price is not $1000 for the vacuum, but $950.

I pulled the trigger. With Amazon Prime CC, got 18 month interest free payment plan and 1 year of additional warranty added.

How long did you have the phones for?

My Samsung TV got a line right after the warranty expired.

Ice bounces off the ice maker bucket in my Samsung fridge. My Ring cams seem to disconnect often to view from the fridge and it doesn't have much memory for apps...

Dishwasher seems ok so far..
