not really...after markups, fees, and tips, you will probably break even or maybe even spend more . but if you like your stuff shopped for you, it's a deal I guess.

I have a hard time justifying the mark up of products (usually just shop for Aldi store pick-up) but there are times that it's more convenient to use Instacart.

End of November had a couple sicknesses go through the house and everyone was at zero energy so being able to use the service, even at mark up, was so beneficial that I could just run to pick up my order

Tips to save on instacart. Select next day 3 HR delivery window which will offset $2.Choose only stores with in store prices. Eventually convenience is the name of the game.

That post has been updated since I looked at it earlier. Sounds like people aren't actually able to redeem the voucher once they've purchased it.

I mostly shop stores that offer same pricing in store without mark up plus pick up my orders m to get the 5% cash back. Last year I more than earned back the $80 I pay for instacart plus as a Costco member and that is even with doing delivery several times when it was more convenient. My Food Lion is excellent and so is my Aldi. I rarely have issues.

Dont buy this if you are planning to use promo codes - the regular $30-40 off offers

Instacart will lock your account and you can say good-bye to your $200 gift card balance. They will not refund it under no circumstances.

The worst and most pathetic customer service in my entire 20 years of experience dealing with any retailer/merchant. Been 5 months, still fighting them

There are a lot of cases like mine. Just check reddit

I got downvoted to hell for sayign this earlier but I was placing $10 minimum order up orders and then selecting the $2 off option. By placing 10+ orders at a time it keeps the number of reports I make relatively low

Instacart is big time in the negative on my account as are all delivery services because I know how they work. That being said, all of my reports are honest and genuine which is why they don't look suspicious in any way.
