Only played the single player campaign. Definitely worth $3 even if you only play it a single time. It's on the short side, but it's fun and don't remember any significant bugs or annoying gameplay issues.

Have all the issues with hackers been resolved? Amazing game, but last I heard online is rampant with hackers that break the game. No attention to fixing the issue and it's been years.
Still, great game and a great price. Do your homework before purchasing.

This one had server problems, but there's a mod that enables people to host their own servers: https://github.com/R2Northstar/Northstar

And yeah, $3 is worth it for the single player campaign.

Game is probably worth even $3 ... A lot of entertainment costs more than that these days. Agree with Ceno though - try to see if there is a cheater or DoSer issue still. Besides that, I *think* this one has a decent campaign anyhow

EDIT: apparently both have hackers.

from what i remember, Titanfall 1 was the one that was completely broken by hackers.

Negative sir the SDK for Titanfall 2 I believe was leaked and that is what made it so difficult to permanently take care of all the hacking plus the fact that EA did not necessarily want the game to succeed against their established IP at the time which I believe was some battlefield.

For all those asking.. Yes the server issues are still a mess due to DDos attacks. If you buy this game it's for the single player campaign and if you want you can download the Northstar hack which is a player led mod with private servers for multiplayer. There is still a very active group on there and you can get a good amount of multiplayer going on there with modes and mods that weren't available in the original release. Very fun.
