6mm and 8mm are used in plenty of vehicle panel construction. They are perfect sizes for home tinkerers of their own vehicles.... why I bought a set. Thanks!

Honestly I can't even think of a single application where high torque would be needed for a 6mm hex head.

I've never even had a need for a 6 or 8mm in this form factor. I have a 1/4 and 5/16 set I use all the time though... I wonder if people are using the right size??

If 6 and 8 mm are all you need, have at it.

Thats what I was thinking. 1/4 and 5/16 are go to for HVAC work but I can't think of what would be comparable for 6 and 8mm. And I do all my own work on everything for house and car.

In what cars? I e been taking interiors apart for decades and I couldn't tell you what used a 6mm. 90% of cars are 7,8,10mm, Philips and a t15/20.
