Not sure about Amazon, but I returned that stuff immediately and got a refund.
Best Buy, I've returned stuff within the normal window. I know for this laptop the manufacturers 1 year warranty applies, however not the free 1 year accidental damage protection ASUS is giving out right now as well since its not new in box.
