What is Neo QLED now? I swear, marketing people are responsible for more new tech than the engineers

I've come to the realization that these threads are just drunken bar discussions. Anyone can pretty much say or ask anything without regard to relevancy, veracity or good taste. The misinformation essentially becomes a punishment for anyone posing questions that could be answered by the simplest google search. As Dogbert once said, "There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots."

This is a killer deal by the way. The $1260 deal was restricted to those qualifying for special programs like EPP or EDU.

Yeah. I have a C2 OLED in my bedroom that gets a lot of natural light during the day and my TV still looks phenomenal and more than bright enough. I will never understand the need for brighter and brighter. Contrast is far more important than brightness. QD OLED is great. I'm not saying I wouldn't get that once it becomes better and doesn't have all the quality control issues, but the people who specifically go with QLED over OLED, because of brightness, are silly. Brightness doesn't equal best picture quality. OLED is just better than QLED, overall.
Whether you own Mini led or OLED human nature is to justify their purchase. That's just how it is. Myself I love the brightness AND contrast that Mini led offers.

I think it's OOS. It doesn't specifically say it but every time I try to add to cart it just vanishes.

$1710 for the 85Q70A. The 85Q80B at $1400 is a much better buy...

I got this few weeks ago for 1259$. It's nice and gets really bright but blooming is noticeable and the contrast is not as good as my 2yr old Hisense with VA panel. Will keep it but the next TV I buy will be OLED for sure.

I'm so annoyed by this. They jumped the price up to $1399.99 last week when the 75" came back in stock after being out for 2 weeks, so I grabbed it, and now it's back down again.

Take this deal, it's not gonna get any lower, and price match through customer service is proving to be a headache.

Grabbed the 65QN800B for $1819. This is going to replace the 4x 4k monitors on my desktop with one continuous screen. Hooray for no more bezels.

I don't have AAA nor do I have EDU or EPP discounts. However, my employer's discount site has Samsung and they offer the same discount. I also messaged Samsung's "tech experts" and told them that if they threw in Samsung Care+ that I'd buy it. I got that added for free. Thanks!
