All the deals I saw previously was for edu or military people though.
Is this TV good for this price?
Any other suggestions of TVs in the 85ish range?
I don't really have a budget, but I'm more willing to spend more for bigger size then this, or the same size, and not more for smaller size, even if better. But even though I'm not worrying too much for a budget, I can't see myself spending over 10k for a TV, so the 98 OLED at 25k is just; no way.
Edit: as I've seen replies seeing such important to know for suggestions.
I game, but I'm not a gamer. Sometimes I have the desire for and spend a few weeks in a role gaming, but is being a while since it happened.
I don't care for shooter multiplayer online competition games though, although I love cooperative shooters, like COD zombies and Borderlands.
I love watching movies and TV shows. I got a lot of DVDs/Blu Ray/4kdvd totaling close to 3k(thanks to movie stop closing and all cheap second hand ones I used to shop for at pawn shops 👀)
I'm working on enclosing a room to dedicate it for watching TV, and keeping nice and dark. However, I work at afternoon/nights, and sleep in the morning. My TV watching time is around midnight to 5am, so is usually pretty dark even if I didn't try to enclose.
For me my sleeping hours is cool, as i can sleep through anything (except clicking clocks 👀).

This is a crazy good deal on this TV, even if it was third party, but this is direct from Samsung and includes white-glove delivery. Whoever TD'd this has no idea what they are talking about - this should be front page, even if you have to buy the cheapest AAA membership for $58 to get it.

The Samsung software is clunky and painful at times - I tried disabling personalization but YouTube always freezes and restarts, which is a bit annoying as it's pretty much the only 8k content out there. I can't wait for a decent consumer 8k external device.
Using it as an 8k PC monitor is a blast for photo editing and crisp text and I often use it as a second display for working from home.
Can I see the difference between 4k and 8k video? Not from a comfortable sitting distance, no. If you care more about raw video quality, the LG and Sony high end probably get more bang for the buck. But with a Samsung soundbar and Q-Symphony, I don't think you can get a better deal on a huge screen with surround and Atmos.
- QN800B
- 65" - $1820
- 75" - $2100
- 85" - $2800
- QN900B
- 65" - $2660
- 75" - $3150
- 85" - $3500
Price above - $50 off with R M N + tax = smoking hot deal on just about any Samsung TV.White glove delivery included (will mount onto existing mount or you can add one at checkout that they will install and mount for you for an additional $120), plus it's Samsung Direct.

We are just getting to where you can reliably get 4k content most of the time with some things still at 1080p.
PC gaming is even worse.... It's a pleasant surprise and an oddity to even get 4k textures and assets, most gaming studios are finally starting to reliably use 1080p assets and they are still often horribly compressed.
720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4k..... Every screen looks better at it's native resolution and worse at anything lower. 1080p looks pretty great under most circumstances, but looks like crap on a 1440p monitor. Even 720p looks fairly decent on a 720p screen from a little farther away but looks utterly terrible on a 4k screen.
If you want a magnifying glass to make everything look worse then a 4k panel would..... Then by all means.
