Wyze Plug Outdoor - $11.99. These work well... waterproofing is solid and perfect for not having to go outside to turn on the holiday lights in the snow... Hey Google, turn on holiday lights! Plugs can be controlled independently or together.

Because some (most?) of us have moved on from SmartThings, playing compatibility roulette, and needing custom handlers just to use something like a basic plug/switch. I'm a big fan of Zwave, especially for lighting, but $12 for an ESP32 based smartplug is hard to beat, especially with this featureset and the ability to fully customize it with ESPHome firmware.

Kasa works with Smartthings but Wyze does not. Both work with Google Home and Alexa.
I flashed two of them with ESPHome and they work fantastically well with HomeAssistant. Been operating in a MN winter with lots of snow and cold and they haven't failed me yet.
I have one of these, a Kasa double, and a generic one that runs on SmartLife... honestly, they're all the same. They do what they're supposed to do without any complaints.

From what I know, there is no native support for Homekit. People seem to use Homebridge with Wyze products to get Apple support.

Anyone one of a good app that allows for semi-random on-off times? I want to put this on a timer, but not go on and off at exactly the same time each day.
Interesting question... I've never seen one... but you could set up a schedule/routine (I think) that has a different time set up each day of the week. That would probably work just as well.

I should put my wyze cam on here to to reset it everytime it's fked up. The cam can't even reset from the camera settings. Legit have to unplug from the wall all the time lol.

I picked up a couple of these and I've had terrible luck with the scheduling. Sometimes it fails to turn off when scheduled, sometimes it fails to turn on. Using Alexa routines works reliably at least, but the Wyze app can't be trusted.
