Highly considered this until I realized that it didn't keep the insert locked in. Review said the bits hardly stayed in

Still too expensive. I picked up a Bauer one at Harbor Freight for $19.99. Small, lightweight, love it.

The only thing going for it is usb-c battery. No clutch is a showstopper for me.

doesn't look like it has a replaceable battery? batteries in the ryobi are swappable w/ their usb c lithium cell. prob worth the additional $5
Good point, but something this small and portable I didn't really care for a replaceable battery. I have my M12 Fuel for real work, but this is nice and convenient for small light duty tasks like screwing electrical outlets.

Do not get this. Even for light duty work it has a torque limiter and the limit is shockingly low. You end up hand tightening stuff anyway. Stay away.

Also you have to remove the battery to charge

I bought this last time... I used it once and never found a use for it again. It's not good enough as an electric screw driver to be your dedicated screw driver, IMO.

I'm a little surprised by the negative comments. Mine works great and no issues with the bits being loose. Mine lives in the bottom of my laptop bag for work and gets used frequently. Being able to recharge the battery with the same charger I always have with me for my phone is a huge plus.

This is not a drill. It's an electric screwdriver. I'm happy with mine so far but it should be $20 or less.

??? mine stay in just fine. if you don't push the spare bit in right it won't stay, but it won't go in all the way so yea... bit you're using seems pretty snug to me.

I don't care for the battery, where you have to remove it to charge it, but it's not terrible. it's USB-C anyone is wondering.

I have it and don't really like it. It has no power. After a few uses to screw maybe something into dry wall it would dry. If you trying to screw into wood this definitely not the tool for it
Had a 4v Black and Decker before getting this model. Drill pilot holes (get hex end drill bits) and you can do it. Speaking from experience.

I got it a couple weeks ago for this price in store. Its very weak, slow and very large. I returned within 3 days since it easier to use a normal drill. I recommend the one by skil or if you have $$$ DeWalt.

Pros:
-Flips from screwdriver shape to drill shape
-Usb c

Cons:
-very large
-slow/weak
-no bit retention (tho new bits would not fall out)
-leds a
Have a bad placement

got one of there for a relative to use on a model railroad table layout. for that and small jobs it's very handy.

anyone thinking they can buy a power screwdriver and drive lag bolts in with it will be sad - but if you have a real cordless driver and want this for loose drawer handles and door hinges it's perfect.

it doesn't have a ton of torque; but when i checked around it was more than the competition.

i honestly feel that having to pull the battery out to charge doesn't matter - if anything it means you could swap them if you have more than one smaller tools like this - but it IS fabulous that it uses usb-c charging... these will be around every household for years to come whereas a specific charger lost in the basement is a PITA
