My wife used a similar coupon for Columbus, Ohio at $7.99.
When she went to pay and the hair stylist had this look of dread on her face. She took the coupon and held her breath. My wife tipped her on the full amount of the haircut - gave her $20 and said keep the rest. The hairstylist was ecstatic and said to my wife the previous person who used the coupon only tipped her $2.

Lesson - don't be that person that just tips $2 and says well it is 25% of the bill. Remember, the hairstylist is cutting your hair and if they do a good job tip on the full price. They earned it.
Take the discount from corporate by using the coupon.
This is how much it should cost, they usually cut my hair in 5 minutes, but wait time is like 30 minutes. And they cut my hair really bad, the reason I go there because no other options nearby
That is what I normally do when i have coupons. I pass that to the person who provided the service and i save on the money that i would have spent for tipping

Thanks for posting. I just saw this on FB and came to post it. Glad you beat me to it. A great deal anymore. $18-$20 for a cut in DE anymore. And I need one soon.

There are a number of people in another Great Clips thread who think its cool to not tip at all.

Have been a loyal Great Clips customer for years but the inflation price increase and higher gas costs plus my valuable time got me to dig out the old Flowbee I got back in the day. No more wasting time and money going to great clips anymore!

So if the haircut originally costs 20$, or say wash and blow dry for a girl costs 35$, what is a good tip? Is it a flat % like 20-25% for a restaurant? Thanks.

Just go to an ethnic barber. It's normally around this price, and if they do a good job, then you're basically set for life. Tip well, become a regular, and support local businesses.
