Never mind the fact that people are going to read sugar free, especially diabetics, and think that it's safe to consume as much as they want.

Exactly! And the fact that they highlight that it's sugar-free means that they are somewhat promoting to people trying to watch their sugar intake (meaning being concerned about blood sugar spikes.) That company knows it's being devious. Thanks for pointing the Maltodextrin out. I try to avoid it as a sugar substitute.
