Don't do it.

They charge your credit/debit card, then product not available, order canceled, etc.

They you get to fight with your credit/debit card and Autozone to reverse the charges. Happened to me twice on the clearance gloves.

Buyer Beware.
Ed is right. Don't do it. I went into the store 2 different times, was lied to by each employee, and then got a very early call saying they canceled the order. best to delete this post to save people the hassle.
Placed an order this morning, and the store called and said they did not have the item and that I would need to go in person to get a refund (odd). I checked my order status online and it shows the order is processing but the last 4 of the credit card is not mine. I think the store employee is trying to purchase it.

I don't get this… autozone is a known retailer why would they cancel but not refund your order? Why would you have to call your credit card for a chargeback
I have no idea. All I can say is they charged me for 2 orders, neither of which were filled. I have contacted both the Debit Card company and Autozone. Supposedly, Autozone customer service said they are trying to reverse the charges. But I still don't have my money.

I don't think they are purposefully trying to take my money. It's probably either incompetence, a website that is buggy and outsourced, online presence that is not up to the same level as the brick and mortar stores. Whatever the case, they still have my money. And I'm now caught in the middle.

Never again Autozone.

Just got off the phone with customer service. I was told it takes 3-5 days for a refund and tomorrow is the last day so I should see a refund tomorrow or call them back.

Their inventory is either messed up or employees hiding them away. Wasted a trip last time.

Employees tell you it's out of stock and then make you come into the store to issue a refund. Really fishy. Argued with the customer service rep for about 5 minutes and he was magically able to refund it

I bought these a few days ago. I ordered 4 pairs. They called me and said they would transfer a pair from another store and to pick up in the afternoon. When I got there I saw another pair on the rack so I bought that too.......I guess I got lucky

I was able to get a pair, no issues, took about 5 mins after the order to confirm the order was ready for pickup.

I can also chime in with the poor customer experience. Not worth the hassle.

One order was ready for pick up and the other was processing. When I went there he said they pick the orders when the customer comes in…. I don't know how busy they are when they have so many employees. I had him cancel both yet only one showed as being refunded, luckily I got both receipts. You're better off just going there unfortunately.

This going to be like the Mechanix Wear gloves from last week? Took them 3 or 4 days to notify there was an 'issue' and canceled my order. But I went via paypal and it refunded with no issue.

When they had that $5 clearance on the disposable gloves, I got notice my order was ready for pick up. When I came in the store, the girl working had no idea how to get my order and ending up pulling them. I guess they waited for me to show up. Another store had pulled them off the shelf and handed the to me.

Their omnichannel strategy is terrible, they're the only ones that's so backwards.

paid with paypal. called the store the next day, they said they never received the order. called the online customer service, they called the store, the store said it wasn't in stock. the online guy cancelled, refunded and then gave me a $10 gift card. i was polite and everything worked out. i think im happier with the outcome
