Teamgroup has such a confusing product line to me. The AX2, EX2, GX2, Vulcan Z and Vulcan G all have 3D TLC, an SLC cache and similar price points. The only easily identifiable difference is the advertised sustained R/W speeds.

AX2 and EX2 are the same specifications in all ways meaningful.

I have the AX2 2TB and using it for older games and it is perfect for that. Deal must be dead for the 2TB EX2 though showing the standard price it's been at regularly for some time, sitting at $91 and change.

AX2 is same as EX2. Only difference is that AX2 is Amazon only model

Because it's more or less limited by the SATA3 speed, if they ever make a SATA4 then we'll see faster SATA SSDs.
