Keep in mind that the Rtings review is for a 65" with an ADS/IPS panel. This 85" has a VA panel, so overall it will perform better than the Rtings review suggests... especially for movies.

I actually own it. The picture will make you go WOW! Especially after you run the calibration app.

Snagged this up. Got on chat and they added the 2 years for free. Sweet deal.

I've read the terms of the Samsung Care+ and to me it seems you get 3 total years. Year one is Samsung warranty for anything that is not accidental damage. If accidental damage they cover it. Then 2 more years under the warranty company solely. That's how it reads to me but not 100%

People saying you can use a aaa memebership for the same deal, BUT if you join aaa, you can't access the discount website for the deal link for 24 hours because the membership isn't instant online..so if its a limited deal, you might not be able to get it.
On hold with aaa now trying to find a solution.

Did you use Samsung's smart calibration?

Rtings listed the Q80B (65" ADS/IPS panel) as the best mid-range Samsung TV last month. I'm excited to get my 85" VA!

People must have good eyes. I have not seen any TV that will make me say "wow". I have the 85 inch qn90A

Yes. You start the calibration from the Smart Things app on your phone, then you hold your phone 1-3cm from the screen. It runs a series of color tests and calibrates the screen to match color charts. Makes everything look very life-like and less color saturated.

Many prefer the saturated the poping image, they don't want their TV look like real life.

I've done multiple installs/mounting, just have to find the two studs in the wall and it's pretty easy. If you're trying to hide the wires you can buy a kit on Amazon for $20-$30. All in with the mount probably $75-$80.

I'd take the warranty for sure.

I was also able to get the warranty free after asking about it and telling the guy no thanks. He then offered it free.
.....then I got a fraud alert after using Amazon pay and have to get on chat again to tell them to place the order again...
