"It is widely known in communities which are pickier about properties that white filament requires a percentage of pigments much higher than other colours, therefore white filaments are typically weaker (or significantly weaker) than most other colours."

I openly welcome being corrected on this as I am no expert.
Nozzles are cheap and are consumables anyway, and if you need white filament - you need white filament, so I wouldn't worry about it but for general purpose, I'd stick with black or other colors. The last time Monoprice had a similar sale on black PLA, I bought 1kg and it is good filament and I'd buy this but $9 shipping for a single spool or $12 for two kills the deal for me.

- Inland is just branded eSun
- Normal Inland PLA became PLA+ when they got a new, cheaper version that became plain PLA
- Actual PLA+ became PLA Pro
- Tough PLA is something different entirely
So, if you like PLA and want regular PLA with good properties and easy printing, get PLA Pro. If you (Fosscad) print parts that need to be strong and durable, get Tough PLA.Leave a Comment
