Depends on which ones you're referring to. There are many variations of even the basic speedmaster; which crystal is used hesalite or sapphire; manual wind or automatic and many others.

Or you can get casio dw5600 G-Shock for around $50. It's one of two watches approved by NASA for space. In truth all G-Shock are space worthy imo.

The new speedmaster pro racing got introduced recently. I have a speedy racing panda dial. So nice. But man the new speedy pro racing looks awesome.

Yes, like i said, many years ago.

Both are beautiful watches, but how much is the Seamaster worth now compared to the sub?

I have been wanting that Speedmaster at 3.1k for many weeks to months now. I hardly wear my sub as it is, so was debating between getting an Omega vs something in the 500-1k range that I will wear much more often.

I have been watching those Speedmaster chronographs for a few weeks to months now. They bounce between 3100 to 3300 like all the time, so don't think this is that great once in a blue moon of a deal. It has been at this price for a while now. I even saw it once around the holidays for 3k.

Define value. Omega will lose value the most out of the three. Rolex will likely increase in value if you bought at msrp.

Now if you define value as getting an Omega cheap for a preowned one, then sure.

Anyone looking for luxury watches should definitely just make a daily habit of checking for sale sections at the big watch forums. Get the watch you want without eating the depreciation. Just make sure of really good pictures and sellers with good reputations.
