The mainly relevant information for this deal, also a dealbreaker, is that it is actually the ad-supported worst tier, which is especially awful at Peacock. That fact needs to be in the topic title.

Peacock was offering $0.99 per month (12 month plan) during the World Cup.

Especially awful at Peacock? The commercial breaks have always been 30-60 seconds for me, by far the least amount for plans from any ad supported streamer. Getting it for $1 a month plus cashback was an insane deal a couple months back.

had the free sub from spectrum, but expired after 12 months. it's one-time offer and unable to renew/extend for another 12 months.

Comcast/Peacock are no saint but your frustration is misplaced. The buck starts and stops with Vince.

Why would you pay to see tv show adds?
Not even live sports in it?

Tons of live sports. Only legal option if you want to catch all of EPL. People need ro come of their high horses about paying for ads. Fact of the matter is that if you want to watch a certain show or movie most likely it is exclusively on one streaming service that has ads in some way, shape or form. There are ways to tolerate ads for most people, even if you are paying for the service.

Yes we know it's the ad account but 29 dollars seems like a good deal especially with Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania upcoming.
I hear ya', brother! And as far as I know, we only get the PPV events via Peacock Premium?

Also, my main use of Peacock recently has been for WWE Big Grin! Excited for Royal Rumble! We're on the road to Wrestlemaniaaa!!!

Just a PSA again that Peacock lowest tier is permanently free for Xfinity customers
Actually it's this tier (premium) that's free for Xfinity customers (with Flex). Pretty sure the lowest tier is free for everyone, has ads and it missing some "exclusive" content.

Peacock is free with a spectrum account if you have them for cable/internet. They say it's for 12 months but mine just expired I logged back in on spectrums website and linked it again. Boom! Another 12 months for free..

Had to buy peacock for my mom solely so she could watch days of our lives. Kind of a lame move since her age demo really isnt into streaming as much. Had been on live tv for decades

with the premium plus plan. which is an extra 5 a month. you get nbc affiliates, but shes just got an antenna for that.

she gets more use out of the hulu dollar a month bf deals
