When was it that we had to start paying for network TV with commercials. Think about that for a moment!
About 10 years after the DVR became mainstream making commercials expendable.

> ad supported

This is a bit misleading as my experience suggests the entire reason Peacock exists is to show you their forced/inserted ads. Ads everywhere!

Hard pass. Awful service. I hope they go bankrupt.

Yes we know it's the ad account but 29 dollars seems like a good deal especially with Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania upcoming.

I have Peacock at discounted price offer. For soccer lovers lime me the English Premier League live matches along is well worth the price.

Edit: A strange thing is happening with my Paramount+. Had signed up for a 1 month free and cancelled removing CC from payment. Have the cancelled successfully email but it is still streaming for last 6 months. Maybe other users can check their account who already cancelled.

Just pointing out that for those of us who are Cox Internet and/or TV customers that their promotional deal with getting Peacock Premium for free (just like Spectrum and Comcast) expired back on January 15th of this year. So these free agreements can and have ended. Unfortunately, for me I didn't know that until it was too late to get in on the $1/month for a year deal around BF last year. This looks like the current best deal for this service. I mainly use this for Office Superfan episodes. WWE and new-ish release Universal movies so for $30 for a year, it's probably worth it.

Can you cancel premium, just gives me an option to downgrade. I don't want to get it and forget it and then get charged $49 next year
I don't know the answer to this but am replying to bump it in hopes someone does. I signed up and would like to not have to worry about this auto-charging my account a year from now.

Unfortunately, Peacock premium will Not be free permanently for Comcast customers At some time in the future the crooks at Comcast charge for the crappy service.

Don't worry, Comcast will wait a while until enough people are signed up for it, then they'll just tack it onto subscriber bills by placing an announcement in the fine print detailing the plan for a poorly labeled and gradually increasing "service fee". LMAO
