It's been this price for months. They just keep changing the expiration date for the instant savings. I want another fridge but don't need one so I've been watching this since about September hoping it would go down more.

I bought this fridge last year. Kenmore just slaps their name on the fridge and whomever manufactures it can change at any time. Ours is manufactured by Daewoo. I learned from speaking with various techs that this is the nightmare manufacturer you don't want to get.

I use this in my garage. Compressor and evaporator went out in under 9 months. It took 6 service calls, 3 months and a lot of wasted hours on the phone to get the fridge repaired. Not to mention a couple hundred bucks in freezer spoilage.

I would stay away from anything Kenmore/Sears related. They are in a very bad state at the moment.

My advice is to do the research on who will be repairing the appliance should you have issues. Avoid anything Sears. That is all I have to contribute. Good luck to those who make the plunge.

Edit: Oh forgot to mention this tidbit. When the tech popped off the back cover in the freezer to inspect the evaporator coil, there were burn marks that he was surprised to see in various places. He said he's never seen that type of low quality work from the factory. The QC is bad.

After extensive research, I zero-ed in on the GE GTS22KGNRWW for 799$ for my garage ready refrigerator requirement.

It comes highly recommended by the top garage ready refrigerator reviews I read online. It is the top recommendation from a local small business appliance store I spoke to. It has 7k+ reviews on both Home Depot and Lowe's website (# of reviews changes when you select from among the 5 color options).

I was 100% sure until I checked to see if it is available at Costco. It is. 829$ for white. Oddly enough, it has 3.7 rating over some 115 reviews. Not sure what went wrong here.

Anyone here knows anything about this particular model please.....inputs and experiences are welcome. Thanks and reps.

I called and asked. They don't have a clue. I have decided to buy the GE one I wrote about right after the post you replied to. Check it out. It is on sale for 799$ at Lowe's or 829$ at Costco with additional 1 year warranty.

I actually have an order in for that exact model, but would rather pay $130 less for the Kenmore.

I ordered from Costco for $30 more because they'll reverse the handles for you. I'm not sure anyone else will without charging extra.

Mind sharing when you ordered and what is the time window for delivery? It showed 3-4 days on product page but when I was talking to them, I was told that is only indicative and actual time window could be farther out. Thanks.

Came to know another data point about its pricing. My uncle bought the same Kenmore in white color from Costco in Feb 2022 for 549.99$. It seems unreasonable to increase the MSRP to 899$ in a matter of a year. And then pretend 699$ is the sale price. Sneaky!

I believe the dates they show you during checkout are accurate. I was given the date I originally selected, but pushed it back because I'm still not sure that's what I want.
