Not certain of the side effects, but I keep the fenced in back yard weed killer/fertilizer (like this) free. I do my best to get a thick lawn to crowd out weeds. Have seriously considered clover, as others have mentioned.

Sugar Land TX (outside Houston) showed 35 in stock. Emoloyee found pallet on top shelf. Bought 20 out of only 24 and 2 of the 43 lb ones (all $1, not shown in Brickseek)--will distribute to family members with lawns/houses. Left rest for employee(s). Brickseek now shows 0. Thanks OP.

I find HD stock very suspect.

Walked into a store last weekend looking for a single can of white satin spray paint. App said 25 in stock (if it were 1 or 2 I'd be leery). Can't find a single can. Store manager happens to walk by asking me if I needed help. Explain situation. Another employee in the paint dept comes by, says store should have 26. Also said inventory was done in December. Looked everywhere, in the overhead, etc, couldn't find 26 cans which is 6 CASES of spray paint.

Eventually gave up. Walked to the ceiling tile dept to get a 4 pack of replacement tiles. App says 6 in stock. 0 in stock. WTF.

The irony is the manager said "well our system says they have X in stock at this other store". OK so I'm trusting the same system that told me you had 26 of them and I'm going to drive over there based on that info? yeah no.

There's no way they could have done inventory in December and their stock be off by so much.
