Bodum Bistro Burr Coffee Grinder, 1 EA, Black https://a.co/d/5sHWhns
I love my encore. You can upgrade the encore burrs with those from the virtuoso (they sell the part separately) effectively giving you a virtuoso for a lower overall plus. I did this and it grinds faster but other than that there isn't much difference.

I just made this decision after a bunch of reading. I went with the encore. Almost double the price for the virtuoso plus. You can buy the burs separately as you know. Other than that the timer and the metal housing don't push me to spend more. I'll just measure and dump beans rather than load the hopper.

I won't make the same mistake buying a crappy grinder.
If you order it directly through Bodum, just add on the glass replacement grounds catcher for $16.50; this eliminates the static buildup issue of the polycarbonate catcher. $56.50 is still a pretty slick deal for a burr grinder and you probably won't find one ith a glass catcher for less.
I own the breville grinder which I like except the stupid static build up issue. Would love to just fix that on my current grinder.

I've got no complaints at all about it.
There are bunch of burr coffee grinders on amazon under $40, surprisingly.

I am actually looking for one.
Don't get a flat burr make sure it's conical Burr. Speaking from regrets of buying a flat burr myself.

I am trying to find something that does not have these issues as well.
One solution is to have an integrated grinder in a coffeemaker, and drip coffee is fine by me.
I would appreciate a pointer if you find something worth attention, in PM.
We bought an OXO brand as recommended by the NYT. No static buildup, no drama. Easy peasy. Check it out:
