the game would run like garbage on a 4090 because the developers decided to go for terrible 3D models and despite no animations the optimization is absolutely terrible

the system is not holding the games back, it is simply one of the worst products of the year, probably one of the worst in the series as well

would not recommend it simply because of the performance issues

I've seen reviews about this game on the Switch and basically the system is holding this game from 5 stars. Plus, the Complete version is only released on the bigger platforms hence people grab those instead of the switch version. This explains the sale price of this game.

I've seen reviews about this game on the Switch and basically the system is holding this game from 5 stars. Plus, the Complete version is only released on the bigger platforms hence people grab those instead of the switch version. This explains the sale price of this game.

That's true. But it will take at least a year until we see Disgaea 6 Complete on Switch with a low price. And the additions are more for the fans. You can still experience the game without those DLCs.

Same game with a more updated system, so you don't need days of grinding. The story was good, and it was definitely worth the price.
