Don't go more than 1 or 2 high. The weight of the dirt will push them out even with rebar reinforcement.

Don't use pressure treated for raised beds that you are using for stuff you are going to eat.

Got these last year from Costco. Grew tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and some herbs very nicely in the Pacific Northwest summer. Very easy to put together.

That would happen even more with the product featured here. Yet another case where the ghetto version trumps the retail one. Unless you want to avoid the hassle of buying and carrying the lumber and the blocks to your place I see no reason why you should not go the DIY route.

If you have a saw and a drill, buy four 2x8x8, do they same thing for $25.

Well technically you are supposed to put rebars through the center hole of that garden bed block and should take care of it. I have 3 stacked together with a rebar that is nailed deep into the ground. Have had it since before COVID hasn't moved an inch.

But I see what you are saying.

These are good if you got a problem with subterranean termites, which we definitely do. Any wood touching the ground they munch on. Maybe get pressure treated and douse the cut ends with copper green.
