IMO, the best deal is the two pack of 4Ah batteries for $48.

Get the fan; it's a really good deal. That's the newer model from this deal:
https://slickdeals.net/f/15951505-2-pack-ryobi-one-18v-4-0-ah-compact-battery-charger-kit-one-hybrid-fan-99-free-shipping

Except instead of 2x 4AH battery + charger for $99, it's 1x 2AH battery + charger for $30.
Gonna quote a user from that thread on runtimes (using a 4AH battery, so ~ halve them for the 2AH battery)

Since it's "hybrid", that means there's a male plug underneath where the battery goes in, so you can plug an extension cord into it and into the wall to run it off normal house outlet power.

I waited on buying the R86211B from the last sale when it was at $120, free shipping made it worth pulling the trigger.

The 4ah ridgid batteries are a good deal - just don't think I need more than 5 of them.

Took a while to check out but got the Ridgid 18V Inflator, Inverter, and air hose. Free shipping makes this slick!

So, that said, probably not ethical but you could buy the item from HD, then return the defective one. It'll end up going back to the mfg anyways.
Returning something you bought at one store to a different store, especially in different condition (i.e. blemished), is not just unethical, it's fraud. Don't do that.

Anyone think that Ryobi gas pressure washer with the Honda motor is a good deal for $264?
I've had it for about a year, it's a very good unit. I think I paid about the same price from their ebay store.

Just starting on Ryobi tools. Are 18v or 40v the way to go?
Depends on the application. In most cases, 18v is fine though 40v is often better with outdoor applications in some instances. Have the 40v Earth Auger and love it. Also the 40v pole saw. Most mechanical tools, I use 18v.

I do. It works great.
is yours the brushless HP version or the base model ? Out of panic, I pulled the trigger on the brushless HP version for $70 versus the $54 base model. I just do basic car repairs at home every once in a while (brakes, sensors, alternator, etc)

Which of the 18V ONE+ HedgeTtrimmers would you guys recommend for trimming & maintaining landscape bushes & shrubs? I'd like to look into each but site is slow and I worry they'll be OOS by the time I'm done... TIA

i have this one and its solid. i was surprised with the power considering its 18v. I use a HP 4ah battery with it though.
