Label created the 28th, and was in Fedex's hands late 29th. Delivered today.
But here's my question -- I've only ordered multiple items from DTO in the past, and they've shipped together in boxes, with TTI's logo on them, pretty much as expected.
With this order, they simply slapped the slipping label on the factory box, and off it went.
I'm curious if DTO has always done this with smaller, or single items, or is it a new practice?
I haven't opened it yet, but the item appears new, and hopefully intact.
I commonly order things from overseas, and they are only wrapped in un-padded plastic, and never boxed, so it's not necessarily an issue all the time.
However, I do want to log this in my memory bank, in the same way as "(Newegg and Amazon liked to) ship a bare hard drive in a box with one pillow pack" is logged by a lot of folks, for future consideration when shopping.

I was kind of surprised my order shipped so quickly, but I guess putting in a simple order, early in the sale, beats the rush.
Finally got tracking # for the first order (11-piece tool set and wet/dry vacuum) late last week and FedEx delivered it today. And of course there's only the vacuum even though packing list shows both as shipped. Package definitely does not weigh 76.1lbs as indicated by FedEx and I don't think they'd even pack both in the same box. At least not in this box which only fits the vac, anyway.
Called CS and she had no idea. Now I need to email them pics and probably wait another couple of weeks or something. Grrr... I absolutely HATE DTO's ship orders! Always something with them.

Meh... Kinda want to call BS on them being OOS when they got the order, but what ever. At least it was stuff I didn't really HAVE to have right now.
Still waiting to hear back from CS regarding my missing 11-piece set that was supposedly delivered on Monday, which it wasn't. Pretty sure that will now also get canceled. Not to mention what will happen with my third order I placed on 1/29.
I'm a patient guy, but these people sure suck once again.
