I think the previous low was $1399.99 for the 65" model.

Note for those purchasing it... I had the "white glove delivery" and they bent the tv the first time they installed it and had to replace it. Basically, make sure you don't pick it up from the corners of the tv. Pick it up with one hand on each side and then one hand on each side of the base. You will NOT be able to pick up this TV with just one person - it's too thin and will possibly (probably?) bend. Added an image of where the direction say to pick up for the 65".

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

edit: back when I got mine I got the Upsie [upsie.com] warranty for it (which covers burn in). Use promo code PLAYOFF for a 10% discount on the warranties. I got the 3 year myself but up to you of course.
3 Year Warranty - $153.89
5 Year Warranty - $341.99

Just as a heads up for all non-EPP people who want the deal: if you have AAA membership this deal works.

Navigate here: https://discounts.aaa.com/home-bu...ts/samsung

Enter your info and you'll be redirected to Samsung's website. You'll see the TV listed as $16XX, but as soon as you get into checkout, it'll show as $1259.99.

Enjoy!

The whole fragile thing is overblown. Picked mine up and had no issues.

The first thing one sees when opening the box is an image clearly showing not to lift by the corners. There is no shortage of places to lift from, just stay away from the corners.

Glad I got this over the C2, as the picture is ridiculously good.

Only downside so far are the UI and remote as they kinda suck, but I use an AppleTV so don't really care anyway.

This year, however, the OLED TV competition is tougher than ever. LG's archrival Samsung has an OLED TV too, promising better color with an all-new QD-OLED panel.

I haven't reviewed other 2022 OLED TVs yet but from what I've seen so far I'd be surprised if they were significantly better than the C2. The C2 is also cheaper and available in more sizes than models like the LG G2 and those QD-OLED TVs. It also outperforms QLED TVs like the Samsung QN90B and TCL 6-Series. That's why I consider the LG C2 the best high-end TV for the money of 2022.

I much prefer the streamlined, simple layout of Samsung

Nowhere in that review is the S95B mentioned by name.

Apples and Oranges

LOL
Yep, good call, my mistake. I erroneously thought a company the size of CNET had reviewed them before giving the C2 "best of 2022" acclaim as they did here

What reviewers prefer the C2?...Please be specific with links to their reviews if you would

I have not seen a single one that had that preference
Here is one I know of just off the top of my head. I think I've seen others as well.
https://youtu.be/7wzMRBfg0JM?t=572

But, most of the reviewers did their reviews and recommendations on these 2 TVs 9 months ago. The Samsung has gotten worse over that time because of firmware updates and other issues. So it my have been the better TV on FW 1211, but as of 1420 the LG is superior.

Tom's guide also lists the G2 and C2 as better buys. This discussion is like pissing in the wind quite frankly. Reviews are fine as a baseline, but honestly, anyone that's a Samsung OLED fanboy that's never seen the two in person side by side is doing nothing other than parroting Rtings or whatever other review site these choose to take as the gospel.

Are you not a LG fanboy? Have you actually seen and compared both at the same time, side by side?

Or, like me, owns both and, even on firmware 1420, can clearly see the picture on the Samsung is far superior.

Can this TV be transported in car laid down or should it be in upright position only?

I have the s95b and c1 and a80j. The S95b is better than both in brightness and overall pq. The colors are way punchier and vibrant. You can talk about build quality and support but when it comes to raw performance the s95b takes the cake no doubt

How do you turn off updates? I've read that it updates even if you select off for automatic updates.

Just not use Wi-Fi on it??

So just use Apple TV or something?

Don't you need Wi-Fi to do setup?

Also how is the reliability. Hearing a lot of horror stories on Reddit.

It works fine all the time. PayPal requirement is to Save offer first then use PayPal to get 4% back.

BAD ASS DEAL. Used my free AAA membership from Tmobile to log on to EPP. Then I started a chat with a customer rep to give me samsung care+ for two years free (300 buck value). Total out the door is 1375 with taxes. HOT DEAL. Even if the tv has QC issues I at least have samsung care+ to mitigate it.
I just called Samsung if they can add the Care + to my existing order and said that they don't have any promotions going on for that. 😩
