Google search issues

For the last couple of weeks Google search works some time and just spins and does nothing at other times. I am using FF. I have rebooted and cleared cookies and cache but it did not help. I have also noticed websites taking a long time to load at times and in the bottom left corner you will see some type of Google site it is trying to reach before continuing.

The only change I made recently was going from WiFI to an ethernet cable to get the full speed from my Gig plan. I have not been able to find anything on the web on how to fix this problem. Peace

it is possible you have an extension or something running.

Easy way to test is to try Edge or Chrome and see if they have the same issue.

You can do a refresh on Firefox but it will reset it back to a new install

Thanks for that info. I will read it and make a decision. I have Edge but have hardly used it so none of my needed info like bookmarks and saved passwords are in it. I will probably try the FF refresh.Peace Wave

If a different browser works, it's a problem in your browser. If not, I'd some sort of issue with your network / isp.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did a Refresh of FF and it looks like it solved my problems. I just have a few tweaks to do to put it back the way I liked it. Peace Wave
