That's exactly what stopped me from insta-buying. Thought I'd read the 1 star reviews and that was enough.
on Home Depot website, all models' reviews are blended together, how do you tell which review is for this model?

I bought this a few days ago. I had an old craftsman (still have) for 15 years and put a new pump and carb into it last sept for 185.00 . it still runs like crap unless i take the air filter off (I know, dont do that) So for me it was a lets see what happens. If it doesnt work ,ill return it and deal with my coughing 15 yo craftsman 2400

Bought the 3100 PSI with Honda engine version @$210 plus tax. Worry about the idle down feature not working.

Any feedback on the electric pressure washers ? we have semi low water pressure, so like to boost it a bit for watering and car washing hosing stuff down...
Here is a link to all the pressure washers [directtoolsoutlet.com]
for this task, gas washer is not only overkill but actually may really kill....your car's paint.

so I'd say for you by all means just go with the cheap electric one for 1/5 the price, it is far more than enough.

I had i believe this model a couple years ago. After about a year of using it, maybe 15 times? It had an issue where, while the water was pressurized, it would not release, and there was no way of safely releasing that pressure. We originally got it from home depot. After they fiddled around with it, they said the manufacturer will just refund me my money.

The issue was, the hose being pressured like that, with no safety pressure release is a huge hazard and a design flaw. Luckily whatever was "stuck", loosened up or whatever and finally got rid of the pressure out of the hose after messing with it for over 20 min.

So all that being said, its a hardpass for me.

There's like a thousand items on the website for sale. Are we going to slow release each one on FP over the next 3 years?

Bought this few weeks ago, and paid for shipping. So far, used this power washer twice. I had the 2,700 psi Honda GCV 160 powered one for 5 years before, and sold the old one on CL for $150.

New power washer is an improvement over old one. The idle down feature is great, no choke is great, ability to let it use up the fuel before shut off is great. I like that they extended the oil fil neck by about 8", so when you do the oil change it no longer spills all over itself. So far it runs great and puts our good pressure.

Are there any electronic start conversion for this washer?

Agreed, use an electric for washing my car with a foam cannon--works perfect. Take care not to use strong PSI on car or house paint. I also use the electric for basic quick cleaning type tasks. If you're doing pavement, you will want a gas powered. Don't waste an entire day using an electric to do your patio when a gas will get the job done in under 2 hours, and look 3 times better.
