I have two of these. One for my wife, Apple and Subaru, and one for me, Android and Chevrolet. Works well for her and is terrible for me. 1 out of 10 times it will automatically connect in my truck and the audio frequently changes to mono through front speakers only after a call. Some calls just won't connect. I regret buying it.

Not sure about the brand, but I would stay away from the vendor. There is a lot of variability with the device and your car and phone, so if it doesn't work out, return is not easy. I would pay more and buy on Amazon.

It's to enable wireless connectivity with your existing wired apple carplay, this should be stated in the original post

Dang! Just bought a month ago on Amazon for $80. Works great in my wife's Benz with Dynavin head unit. Allows us to switch between our two iPhones. Works with Android as well. Never heard of this website, don't know if I would order for this company.
Light in the box is reputable enough. Returns are a pain, they are direct from China.

I wasn't a fan of wireless android auto in the beginning, sometimes I still am not a fan because occasionally it won't connect and i have to reboot both the cars's computer/nav system and the phone. I just wished at least they gave us both wired and wireless options.

However, our other car (2023 model vehicle) somehow did not come with wireless AA, funny because it has wireless charger, but AA/Carplay compatibility.. Wireless charger becomes redundant and pointless. So I really wanted to get this for that car, but someone told me to get another much well known brand in AA community, although Amazon doesn't sell it. So I am not sure if I want to take the chance.

I think it's AA Wireless? How is that?

Use the Motorola one for Android. It works better, and seems native to the car

It's really amazing that a company like Hyundai/Genesis who is on the forefront of technology can't figure out how to put wireless carplay/AA in their highest trim level. This is for pretty much all of their cars. The low trim levels have it, but their "Limited" or higher trim levels that has built in Wifi hotspot only has wired carplay/AA.
Kia and Hyundai provide Wireless Apple and Android CarPlay outside US. They have some licensing issues in US preventing them from enabling wireless CarPlay in the US. Hope the context helps. It's not a capability issue.

I run one in my X5. In general it works great. However, every so often (5% of the time perhaps) it doesn't connect and when it does that you have to turn the car off and back on again to get it to do so.
How old is it? My 2012 came with connect.

This works but it is slow to connect and if there is an iPhone presence that is in the connection list, it would switch to iPhone even if android is connected. We had to turn off the connection from the iPhone to get back to Android. If only Android is needed, it is better to get one specific to it. Also I think Android is simulated on the Apple carplay so it is not native, probably that is why it doesn't work very well for Android. Also I couldn't get the internal website to show to update the thing on Android, it only works on iPhone (the internal LAN site allows you to update it and change some settings).
Also as a side note, if it refuses to connect, one trick is to toggle Bluetooth off and on for Android, then it should connect successfully, at least that is my experience on Android.

This device is the epitome of buying something to have a feature you just don't need. I come back to read users feedback each time it's posted and I have NEVER seen someone say it works perfectly. Nothing but problems wireless for something that works flawlessly if you simply plug it in.

That's not true. They DO have wireless carplay and Android Auto but only in the lower trim, the ones without the upgraded big screen with navigation. I have been looking to buy Hyundai and Kia for the last 2 years and have done a lot of research. The upgraded big screen unit only has 1 antenna spot which is taken up by the hotspot antenna. The lower version doesn't have this issue and thus have wireless carplay and Android auto.

I've had mine that I bought from the same vendor for well over a year now. I haven't had any issues. Mine is not slow to connect at all. The only thing I've had to do is maybe three times I've needed to disconnect it from the usb port and plug it back in, and it works perfectly again after that (and I haven't needed to do that for a few months now at least). This thing is the best $60 I've spent in the last two years. It is true that I may just be lucky, but i haven't had issues others have mentioned. FYI, mine is in a 2020 Mazda3 (not sure if that matters but thought i'd mention it).

2017 Honda Accord Hybrid - when it works it's great, but when using maps I sometimes see artifacts and need to reboot the thing.

From what I understand, this product uses Carplay to connect to Android Auto. Weird right? So if you don't need the ability to do this, I would look elsewhere. There is a $38 coupon on Amazon right now, so i would spend the couple of extra bucks and buy it from a place that takes returns dependably. I have the AA wireless device and works good for me. The Motorola device also works well if you need wireless Android Auto. All of these devices depend on updates, so make sure whichever one you pick gets updates easily (the AA wireless devices has been great, friend that has this devices said updates are a not great...)

I have Carlinkit 3.0 and it works almost flawlessly with my iPhone. Been waiting for a good deal on the 4.0 so my wife doesn't have to plug-in her Android when she uses my car. Thanks!
