100% poly and a Pendleton just doesn't seem right.
https://www.pendleton-usa.com/ for the miUSA stuff.

Costco's is made in China. This the price.

Maybe everyone knows this already and buys it anyway...
For anyone that knows Pendleton brand and what to expect you'd know that you aren't getting a "real" pendleton blanket for anywhere under $150

No one should expect to be getting a premium blanket for $18...

100% polyester 🤮🤮🤮

If you're gonna be sleeping on it or it's going anywhere near your nose/mouth, especially fluffy stuff like this that shreds if you look at it too hard, stay completely away from polyester or any other synthetics. Unless you like microplastics in your lungs, anyway. If you don't care, lmao, have at it.

And this is coming from someone who wears 100% poly shirts almost every single day for their UV protection.

Of all the things that are liable to kill you before the age of 75... microplastics from blankets is not one of them.

Never heard of Pendleton brand. Is it just over priced without much behind it like Supreme, Hermes and such? Or is it really good quality for the price? A throw at $150 last 10+ years? I mean I bought a leather strap sandal many many years ago for $49 but it lasted 12 years of almost daily used, that is quality for the price for me. A Polo leather jacket costs $500 lasted 14 years (a bit worn now)...…hard to find quality now.

Is this in store at all at a slightly less price? Or online only (with shipping markup)

Very far from Pendleton quality, but I do have one and use it every day on my sofa to cover with. I've had it a few months and wash it about once a week. Still holding up well even with my dog and cat sitting on it too. I like it because it's long enough to fully cover me. It's warm.

You are buying these for the aesthetic of something you like over a random china brand/style, knowing they aren't the "real" deal. We have a couple and they do the job I prefer them over some random crap-looking china brand throw but of course, they don't measure up to my real wool blankets from them.

As much as I love Costco, they do this sort of thing with countless clothing brands, too. My "Eddie Bauer" knit/sleep shorts were 2 for $15 so I didn't expect much, but they almost instantly started falling apart and getting random holes. That being said, for a poly fleece blanket, it isn't a bad deal, based on reviews. It just isn't an actual Pendleton.

It seems like only the wool stuff is made in USA on their site. Cotton blankets, down blankets, etc are still imported.

i got a bunch of them nice blankets. we also have a real pendleton also. Yes they are different but still nice blankets. We have had them for 3 weeks and no shedding so far. They remind me of soft homegoods blankets if that helps.

I stopped using Pend. yrs. ago. Their wool was the roughest stuff I ever bought; never again.
