Just got my 42 inch in, it came in a generic brown box... manauf date 07/22
I ordered a service remote as I'm gonna use this as a pc monitor
So far everything looks good 👍

I feel so dumb for trusting woot... this thing just arrived. Scratches all over the back and legs. No product information included and was basically packed in a tv box the typical residential customer would get from lowes to move their tv.

The freaking serial numbers were all marked out like the customer tried to return a different item than ordered, is what it looks like to me. I have had refurbs and never saw this stuff before. Maybe LG is just terrible for refurbs???

Not looking forward to testing this thing...

and got a oled42c2aua, which I think means its a costco model...

It's a hit or miss due to these refurbished may well be Amazon returns due to 2 price cut within a month at the end of last year, therefore the actual status depends on the item returned. The one I received looks brand new, in original box, with screen protector on and 0 hour usage. I don't care about warranty for a TV because I have never used warranty for any TVs I purchased in my life so far, knocking on the wood.

i suppose you are correct.. with the obvious caveat of mine was a costco model so there was some other retailer returns as well.

I think its a blessing because I am still waiting on the samsung c9 to ship I got for $799. I hate not having the vertical space this c2 provides but honestly at this size it HAS to be curved imo to be usable for a monitor.

This thing gives the allusion its bent backwards sitting so close, eyes meeting the center of the screen much faster than the edges.
