Mineral crystal is a dealbreaker. Even $80 watches on AB Express have sapphire crystals nowadays.

That is a dealbreaker for me. Even when I had an office job I used to scrape and scratch a regular glass on my watch. Sapphire crystal was a game changer for me.

To me that isn't so much an issue that it has to be sapphire but mineral crystal is kinda the worst of both worlds. Can't be buffed out like acrylic and isn't basically scratch proof like Sapphire

I want a nice watch that looks cool, with clasp and not too heavy.
I have a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre - Automatic. Nice, but is a bit on a heavy side for every day wear.
This is titanium. It's Citizen.
It's Mineral Crystal, but I am reading you can upgrade to Sapphire for about $100?

Well,.. It's 50% off, usually $500. And it's from Amazon,
I'm going to give it a shot. Peace

Getting the crystal replaced is pretty simple, most jewelers can do it. Prices are kind of all over the place, but generally under $100 for sapphire. I wouldn't even bother doing it until the face showed wear to the point it bothered you.

I have this one. I know it's Titanium. but it feels too light like a plastic watch.

Mineral crystal on a supposed $575 watch? Love Eco Drives, and titanium, but just can't do it.

Titanium scratches easily. Stainless steel is better.

I had a cheap $15 Casio watch thats super light that that really feels like a plastic watch.
But it's a clasp, which is what I'm looking for.

Really curious how light this will be.

43mm in case anyone wants to know. I feel like size should be mandatory for all watch posts but maybe that's just me.

Since you are technically modding the watch with a crystal replacement that wasn't designed for the original case, won't this impact the water resistance of the watch?

Sure, if you can't afford wrist weights, then a big stainless steel watch is a reasonable alternative. Goes great with a wife-beater (sleeveless white under shirt).

The Citizen titanium watches are amazing. I have a 15 year old atomic titanium sapphire Citizens watch that I used as my main daily watch for years, and it's almost as good as new. Titanium is not as hard as steel, but it's hard enough to withstand most abuse.
